Igor was stout. I think team D needs to improve. Pitt had at least 10 danger scoring opps that Shesty stoned.

Winning is great but I am more impressed with the complete game we played. PP was good. PK was good. All 4 lines generated chances and scored. Defense played well on both sides of the puck. Goalie was fantastic. Shout out to the 3rd line. If that line plays like that every night we are going to be a nightmare for other teams to defend. 1-0 boyz!
I can remember the day when some Ranger fans wanted to get rid of Kreider. Alexis The Assassin is going to have a big year. If Igor wants a shorter term that is great. I hate 8 year contracts. Give him 4 years at 11 mil. Perfect! Then in 4 years he can get more.
I know he didn’t ultimately end up on the score sheet but the best skater on the ice was hands down Kakko. Physical. Positioned well. Made some really great plays. He’s gotta put those chances away but he looked really great. Hope he’s not discouraged by the lack of points because if he, Phil, and Will keep this up it could be the best third line in hockey.
