Lets be real. He doesn't break it this year. Next season 2025-2026 he breaks the record for his last NHL season.

The Caps fed him like crazy last season; he'll get 25 from the same spot on the ice, hanging around like a goal suck, and then be injured; let's hope as Canadians that Gretzky keeps the record.
