I remember liking him when he was on the wild a couple of years ago, these stats are surprisingly good though. Outside of the sharks his numbers look good which you could attribute to the quality of defense he was playing behind.

Below .900 on that Sharks team isn’t a red flag.

Kahkonen trending up, Georgie-boy circling the drain.

  4. I remember getting goalied by him a couple of times. He’s going to light a fire under our goalie squad and make it a real competition. Good move by ownership to snag him off waivers.

He was good on the Wild. The team got a Cup with Darcy Kuemper. They just need someone who won’t let in 5/20. Simple stops. Hope Georgie can figure it out too. Only game 1/82. Lots of time

Didn’t realize that Georgiev finished with a GAA of above 3.00 and under 900 save% last season.

    Really concerning.

I’m down to get behind any player on the roster. I’m also not gonna shit on players either. A bit of competition in the crease is good for everyone

Even if Kahkonen ultimately isn’t the answer, these goalies need competition. Prior to this morning the next guy up was Trent Miner, who is never going to be a full-time NHLer. This ups the pressure and gives the coaching staff more looks.

Maybe Matty Davis will get a call if he’s a brick wall his senior year…

We don’t need a superstar hero in net.

I read an asinine article today about how the Avs should target Igor. We don’t need that. We need an average to slightly above average goalie, that’s it.

Anybody picked up from the street can do better than what we had to deal with for the past 2+ years
