34 is no leader, but his absurd salary increase will easily be payed off by the sudden boost in jersey sales because every die hard sucker will have to have one with a 34C. Brilliant merchandising move but paying more money to the same playoff turtles will only further diminish the depth of what is the most shallow roster in the NHL. It’s basic math.
