Devils Let Fans Down: First Home Loss After Global Series Victory
🛑 Devils fans, we need to talk! After an exciting win at the Global Series, 2-0, our team faced a disappointing first home loss 😭 Just wrote an article about the game, a little game recap.
I was pretty negative yesterday, mostly because I spent a lot of money on tickets that were close to the glass for the home opener. It’s just one game and only the third game of the season, some not great performances are expected. However people were really excited about the home opener, paid a lot of tickets, they walked down a red carpet into the arena and put up a poor effort. What was frustrating to me was that most of the issues that they had vs Toronto was a lot of the same old same old same old while the fans were expecting a different team. But teams also have bad nights, bad periods, etc especially in the beginning of the season so hopefully it’s that.
