Since Pettesson is getting a lot of hate lately . I just wanted to post this for non-twitter people . It’s clear the guy cares and will turn it around

Listen, I respect that Petey is buying into the culture and is thinking team-first and rocking his Sedin haircut.
But I think we need cocky fuckboy Petey back.
Nobody cares more than Petey. Anyone with a brain knows that. He’s just struggling for confidence still. It will come. Petey reminds me so much of Raheem Sterling at Man City. World class when confident, a shell of himself when without.
Stunt on these hoes
He’s just standing there? Looks like practices like he plays!
Good, maybe he will work on not skating on his ankles.
This is some serious copium
it’s not even hate, its disappointment in his lack of effort, It’s really simple, If Petey wants to be good at hockey he will be good at hockey, if he doesn’t want it, he won’t be good
Petey needs to take wrestling classes or kickboxing/muay thai classes. I think it’d help his base
Look, I’m not that old but I started following our team right when Naslund fell from stardom. EP will be fine, I am just as frustrated as any but giving him vitriol will only drive him to another city. Do better.
I think the collective disappointment is being mistranslated as hate. No one hates the guy. We’re just disappointed in the lack of production from him since last spring.
We all know he can be better but for some reason it’s not happening. We can speculate all we want but it’s ultimately up to Petey himself.
Someone bring him to No 5 Orange
There were moments Petey was skating like his old self. He just needs to shoot more and shoot quicker. You can just see he’s overthinking everything. Either he holds the puck too long and his lane vanishes or he’s passing to a guy in a statistically worse shooting area.
If you look at his rookie year, his release was quick and he was taking a ton of shots.
Nagging injury 100% just hope he can get back to his elite self and his knee recovers, his interview during the preseason made it pretty clear that this may be something he just has to learn to deal with, hope he does
If it is indeed just a confidence thing and they haven’t already got him talking with a sports psychologist, WTF are they waiting for? Get this man whatever he needs to be the Petey we all know he can be. Maybe he needs help with his off season training?
Petey is too hard on himself and overthinks the plays too much. He just needs to remember his infamous motto: Grip it and rip it.
We all know Petey can score so I’m glad he’s working on his complete game in order to fit into Tocchets system. Should pay dividends later on in his career once he figures out the skating through guys aspect and should help us field a more complete team. I’d rather Petey go the Barkov route of a well rounded highly skilled center rather than a guy who’s a question mark with and without the puck but scores like Pastrnak.
He needs to be more assertive on the ice. It almost looks like he’s overthinking and double clutching all the time.
So do all the Petey lovers think the coaches are over reacting?
I’d say it’s more clear that the coaching staff has realized there may be something going on and are giving him the support he needs.
pls yogi save our pete
Well looks like people are getting the popular line changes. Höglander on Millers line, Heinen on Petey’s line. And Sprong on 4th. Might work?
Personally. I’m certain after the attack on crazy P and the constant attack on petey, that we have fuck head fuckers here (“OP”)
Take your fuck and fuck yourself.
He better figure it out, as the Petey we have seen from the All Star Break is 3M per at best.
It’s kind of strange to think that a fan base is worried about a player that has scored so far in his career 400+ points and is just under a point per game in the playoffs. Not sure what has happened to Petey. But he’s too good to not get back to his previous levels.
