Well this has been the most Sabres way to open a season. Go down 0-3 and then beat the defending champs 5-2. Great fucking game from Krebs and Greenway too, need a bunch more of this

  2. PrinciplesRK

Should have beat Florida without their 3 best players and we did. String together some wins and everything we want is still on the table.

    ### **79-3**

doesn’t have quite the ring as 82-0, but hey.. we work with what we got.

Sabres aren’t dead yet. Let’s fucking gooo.

God Kulich is gonna be a monster. Great win, glad the sky stopped falling for a bit

Alright! Complete game. Let’s build off of that and get rolling!

Welcome back to the bandwagon! That might be the most complete 60 minutes I’ve seen them play in a year.

Greenway is a fucking horse. What a game!

Keep Krebs on the top line. Put Peterka back with Cozens and Quinn, they need him.

I am willing to start a GoFundMe to buy us a Powerplay goal.

And I never want to hear another slanderous word from either national media that Spencer Knight is better than Levi. Levi is untouchable.

Everything working except the PP. Gotta get that fixed if you want to contend!

Great game. Kulich, Krebs and Greenway in particular looked really solid. Powerplay is still ass though

  12. Turns out scoring more than 1 goal helps win games. Who knew.

The Sabres are the greatest team on the planet

  14. BARDLER

Jiri Kulich and Greenway were consistently the most noticable players on the ice.

Gotta say, they looked better and better as the game progressed. it was looking ROUGH in the 1st. Looks like the goals changed the mentality and things turned around nicely.

    Greenway, nice game!

I’m taking my lawn chair down to Washington St to hold my spot for the cup parade

The “suck so bad the first three games that everyone plays their backup goalies the rest of the year” plan went off without a hitch.

Even though they beat a depleted Panthers team I’m still happy because they did it playing bell to bell. I didn’t see a single player stop moving their feet the entire game. They exhausted Florida and that was why they won. Also, I know we love Benson, but IMO they’re not playing like they should if he’s the only name you hear being called out on the broadcast. Barely heard his name all game because I was hearing so much good stuff about the rest of the players on the ice. Really good game all around.

I am once again leading the “extend Jordan Greenway fanclub.” We are open to new members. Dude is a beast.

  21. gintegra

The Buffalo Sabres are 1-0-0 with Dennis Gilbert in the lineup

When we’re doing good in the game, I feel like I’m doing good in life.

  23. Backwoods_84

Krebs isn’t a monster physically, but he adds just enough grit to that top line

  24. StalinsStallions

Greenway was a monster today. +4 and the goal

  25. Sammy_Three_Balls

Guys, ima sit the next three games out

Because they win when I don’t watch

    Just testing

  26. SabresMakeMeDrink

Greenway got the team fired up! Let’s go! No reason we can’t keep that energy against Pittsburgh
