i mean most expansion teams start hot cuz nobody has expectatinos & moreso nobody has any tape on their system AND they got the motivation of knowing poss decades (or for the OG6 teams) CENTURIES, of setting 'first ever – fill in blank – record every game wether ur out for the team OR yourself
also makey prove that balance on all 4 lines is more important than being top heavy with a few superstarts

w recent expansion success im thinking a team of 12 2-3 liner talent (top 6-9) are the guys fightint to stay up or to get top mins, thats who makes up the NEW exp teams like VEG/SEA/now UTH – maybe its a sign that consistency top to bottom can compete with top heavy teams that arent consistenet on the bottom 6….

Like why is this the STATE of Utah and not the CAPITAL CITY of Salt Lake City (which id argue is prob nore well known than the state itself lol) is name (I know some teams do this like AZ (a lotta Canadian Provinces) NY,NY doesnt count but FLORIDA, NEW JERSEY (vs Jacksonville/Miami who have venues already or Jersey City/Hoboken/Trenton)
but idk i always liked the CITY (maybe its cuz im the rare die hard NYR fan AND Die Hard PHI Eagles fan (i grew up in NJ betweeen both!) so i get having a STATE to root for but like, im a TOTTENHAM fan who supports ENGLAND and thats the only sport i care enough to folllow internationally tbh idc about olympic hockey since they stopped all the pros from the US/Canada tearing it up usually in the gold/silver game (Richter/Leetch et al, if only gravey wasnt canadian, he was my fav growing upoutside of goalies cuz that was my posisition and i grew up in the age of PRIME:
RIchter/Brodeur and best of all HASEK
(only non ranger/my fav team in any sport/ jersey ive ever owned (though only wore it for tryoututs/pick ups etc lol) and for my oldhead nostalgia lovers (well nto that old i only 36) i loved htem all, Jocelyn Thibolt, Patrick Lalime, Nikolai Khabibulin (sp) but as NYR we're spoiled with the most important position oiin pro sports acc to studiens behind ONLY aan NFL QB is an NHL Goalie – we (sans Dunhams avg run/Heeley in the day etc) we basically went from Richter (Hof) to Lundquvist (easily in the HoF soon) and now IGOR?! Poss the best of the bunch and a def HOF nom if he even maintains what he's been doing it cu por not imo (he cant scrore goals so i dont like that 'no ring' argument as a goalie – or anyone, its a TEAM sport)

What the hell was this game. Rangers looked very sloppy many mistakes. Utah keeps looking pretty good though excited to see where this season takes them.
