Sorry for the repost, I’m trying to figure out the best way to post these and I didn’t like that the previous one did not have a preview and the video was not embedded. The blueprint is my favourite part of the post-game routine and I’m planning on reposting them consistently through the season (and possibly postseason wink wink).
Thanks for your patience, have a good rest of your day and stay leafy!

Loving Berube so far. His assessment here is spot on. Was our worst game so far and we looked messy as hell early. Systems were falling apart. But they all bought into the tight checking game and pushed through a win. Good to see.

The players may be buying in because they’re not rookies anymore and they’re in the prime of their careers so they’re thinking, “if I don’t win one in the next 3-4 years I probably won’t win one.” They have all the personnel and they can do it.
I believe that. I’ve seen this team and this is the best system they’ve had. Simple. One pass out of the zone and then attack
