Happy 50th anniversary opening night! Here’s some simple wallpapers I made for each era of Caps history with logos, accolades, and imagery from each one! Proud to have them as my local team for my whole life!
Went to games back when it was called MCI, was in a suite in 2007 where my grandpa (we’re in a Pens family) ran into Bondra and playfully said “ahh we all hated ya” and they had a good laugh, watched my Blues for the first time in person in cool winter games in ’17 and ’18 and seeing the black bronze and blue as they returned to the ice for the first time in ’22.
My loyalty may primarily lie with another team but I have a huge soft spot for the Caps and I’m looking forward to going to plenty of games for the anniversary season, particularly the screagle games! Gonna miss this barn whenever I move away from the DMV.
