Really happy for Joey Daccord. I've been a fan since the Sens drafted him. Was sad when they exposed him in the Seattle expansion draft but that's the system working as expected. More jobs means more opportunity. Way to go Joey!

Part of the reason Crosby/Ovi were marketed to us as much as they were is because the previous 10ish years were some of the most dead scoring ever seen in hockey.

The 2003 Canucks in the playoffs in the first round looks a lot like the Leafs PP in the playoffs, only the Canucks adjusted. Instead of Naslund controlling from the half wall, he was more up near the point, they activated back door plays with Jovonovski coming down to the net, Bertuzzi moving up into the slot instead of in front of the net, and using the Sedins with the corner work and the Canucks came back from 3-1 down vs the Blues to win the series.
Can vouch for the pictures and hanging out after, saw Steve in Sweden and he was literally the nicest guy ever and gave time to everyone even though it was crazy busy!

When Adam brought up that Marner has a great shot but is pass first, the first player that comes to mind is Travis Zajac. If you saw him play night in and night out with guys like Parise, Elias, and Kovalchuk, he would always be passing first, but he had a ripper. Never really potted more than 20 or 25 a year but would always pass first. Marner has Travis Zajac syndrome

As a flames fan that segment on Chris Tanev is genuinely so felt. The amount of times during his tenure in Calgary where you just feel safe with tanev on the ice was insane. You always knew that even if he got burned, it was simply because the other player was a world beater. I remember many games where he’s shut down Connor McDavid simply by being on the ice. He’s a really good stay at home defensemen and I’m happy you guys love him

Adam's so right when he says that Toronto's a fun place to play. I'm a canucks fan and I have gotten sick and tired my allotted amount of times about the leafs national coverage. It's ridiculous but seriously… What other place can you play where you are a super hero? People hated on Marner when he said that he and his teammates were comparable to gods but he's completely right! What a place to be a hockey hero!
