I like ABB but our young players need as much ice time as possible since they are our future and not ABB. Ghule is a beast out there blocking shots and doing what he needs to for the team to win. With those assists pilling up you could go with "Passing Lane Hutson" Great show guys! GO HABS GO!

I think we're all seeing the same thing.
I'm going to make a very bold prediction here. If Lane Hutson plays a full season and ends up running PP 1 eventually which i think he will he will finish top 10 in scoring for Defencemen in the league. His unique style of play and hockey IQ is off the charts. He's so unpredictable such a joy to watch everytime he's on the ice.
I would simply call Laine, The Mouse.
King Lane 🫅reigns! He is the game changer Habs have desperately needed for years. When Demidov joins it will be extremely difficult for opponents to defend against us. Impressive stats regarding Guhle who also currently leads the league in blocked shots with 14. Can't see ABB being claimed given rosters are set and he would have to play in the NHL all season.
Heineman and Kapanen are too stron.
I've been saying for 2 years that Ghule will be a top 2 def.
We're finally starting to see it.
He's a physical 2-way defenseman and his offensive awareness is underestimated.
I see 35 pts for him this season, 50 if he gets PP time with Hutson on the 2nd PP.

I'm a huge Canuck fan, friends. I'm telling you Habs fans, what I see in Lane Hutson at 20 is a spitting image of Quinn Hughes. The sky is the limit.
Honestly, I'm trying so hard to not get my hopes up with Hutson, but it's impossible.
I swear that when Hutson has the puck on the blue line, the opposition doesn't even challenge him. They're all scared to end up on Lane's highlight reel.
Ghule is our elite shutdown defenseman, Matheson is great aswell now adding Hutson… We have 3 top 4… defense, the rest of the corp is quality enough and well slotted to perform. I Just gotta say PLEASE get off Matheson… Last game fans were on him for a misplay on the PP almost boo'd him…. Wonder why Quebec born players dont want to play here… Hutson will become top pp quarterback but we don't need to ruin our own player for it to happen. The team has amazing chemistry,let's just enjoy a team that for once wants to win for us.

Honestly I hope for Barre Boulet’s sake he is claimed off waivers and gets to keep on playing in the NHL. He was a victim of a stacked Tampa system and now a victim of a young habs pipeline. I say this as a habs fan!
