Why would Rasmus hit him like that… and then immediately fight him? Aren’t they good friends?

Big if true

There’s a long list of players who deserved to get punched in the head over the years.
GuybrushThreepwood94
The fight is whatever. It happens. Not sure why Dahls is throwing that hit in practice though.
SmLSugarLumps
Wonder if they registered the 5 year warranty

Imagine if we could do this in offices. Work would be so much better haha. No long standing grudges just a couple punches to the face, a couple F bombs, then back to work.

usually i say fights in practice are common but odd the man with the C would jump him afterwards like that, strange incident

Hell yeah
There is 🔥 in that locker room

Not ideal – and not what I expect from our C.

I’ll take whatever shows intensity

Love Dahlin, but you don’t need to make a hit like that in practice.
PrimasChickenTacos
Do we know who is who? Looks like Dahlin in the black sweater and Krebs in the red sweater? Not sure if Krebs does something with his stick toward Dahlin immediately after the hit, but to my eye it looks like Dahlin instigated the “skirmish.”

Reddit sees a ten second video with zero context and thinks this is strange.
It’s professional hockey, not the knitting club.

But did he enable his warranty?

Copied from Lance Lysowski’s Twitter post: Lindy Ruff: “Boys will be boys. Ras got bumped (the drill) before and then evened up the score. I wouldn’t read too much into that. We want competitive practices.”

WTF – is this today or preseason?
kit_mitts
Maybe if Rasmus hits him hard enough, he’ll turn Krebs into a useful NHL player.
knowtheledge71
I get the feeling Krebs is an entitled player who’s riding on the fact he was a first round pick, and is shy to be physical on the ice. Dahlin probably had enough of it, time for Krebs to grow up.
Flynn380
Maybe Krebs is the one that injured Dahls in that practice several weeks ago, which meant he couldn’t start the season on time. Perhaps this is just payback because Dahls has been holding a grudge. Shrug.
OpanaG76
Frustration boils over from feeling like they’re playing better than 1-3 I bet. The interviews from the players after the game gave that vibe too

None of us know what goes on in the locker room. Personally, I love this. Dahlin setting the tone and showing leadership on a team that desperately needs it.

As long as this isnt repetetive pattern, I like it.

Clearly the guy who took the video saw what happened to create this situation but also knows how to stir drama to think he’d do that for no reason is hilarious.

Lindy must have loved this

Both players can bring obnoxious intensity to the ice. (I love it) I’m not shocked that this stuff happens if they are having harder practices. By all accounts, the locker room vibe is off the charts. If they can truly practice like they play they will be better off.
canintospace2016
According to the hockey news Krebs stated “ “I think (Rasmus) got bumped before, and then he evened up the score,” Krebs told reporters, according to The Hockey News’ Sabres site editor Michael Augello. “I wouldn’t read too much into that – just, we want competitive practice.”
Reassuring thankfullyÂ
JDForrest129
Sounds like Dahlin got hit by Krebs earlier in practice so he had a chance to give it back. A little extreme but I want the entire roster to have this fire so unless it spills over to other practices & games then IDK.

Tempers flare. They’ll be laughing about it later.

Blues fan here. The Blues were in last place in the league in the 2018-2019 season and Bortuzzo and Sanford got in a fight in practice. From that day on they had the best record in the league and won the Cup.
Point being, you are winning the Cup next June.
Mdbenx
Anyone remember the year at Louis was last in the league then they had a fight in practice, somehow made the playoffs and ended up winning the cup. I mean I’m not upset about it
