Igor is playing for that salary lmao. What a beast
Artemi Panarin is like a magician with the way that he creates three-point nights out of thin air.
Aye great win boys
That’s my $11 million goalie
Only way Mika gets points is when a team has one more skater
Igor buying them enough time to score, we’re back
Mika needed a game like that, hope it’s the start of getting things going for him
Aww man, next game is an espn one. Booo hisss.
Gonna get lost probably, but Trouba was (and has been) magnificent. 4points in 3 games and looking much more confident on D!
Just give all the stars to Igor 😅
NYR has given up 1 goal in 2 games with Brodzinski in the lineup. correlation/causation? yes. is it also true that Brodzinski is an extremely effective 4th liner who tilts the ice in our favor and wins his minutes? also yes. guy has absolutely earned his spot and there is no reason whatsoever to take him out of the lineup.
aside from that abysmal 2nd period, NYR was good at 5v5, as they have been all year. Miller/Fox pair has still not been on the ice for a 5v5 goal against and they continue to win their minutes as a pair. they should continue to play together, no question about it. Igor does what he does best, which is bail them out when they underperform, and the power play showed up too
room for improvement but still
Sam saying no offense Mika LMFAO I thought he was gonna say he shouldn’t be the star of the game
⭐ Mika
⭐⭐ Bread
⭐⭐⭐ Igor
Igor was robbed.
Sam and Joe @ Igor’s third star… I love them 😂
Sam and Joe ripping whoever picked Igor to not be the first star is the type of banter that we take for granted— gonna miss Sam so much 🥹
Nah they got the stars backwards for sure lmaooo wtf was that
Good win but the effort on D in the second period isn’t gonna cut it against the Panthers or Hurricanes. This win feels a lot like a win from last year where we lean on Igor to bail us out for a long stretch before they could finally figure it out. The third period was good though so that’s encouraging. I would like to see a little bit more physical play from our D. Also PAY IGOR!
Didn’t watch the whole game so won’t rank.
But our offense seemed pretty good, defense was playing better than vs Arizona but worse vs pittsburgh. Had a few shaky moments and long times getting out of the zone.
So glad for mika though.
Rn our biggest issues are mik and trouba consistent production and making sure our first line puts the second line in a good position(I don’t like our s3cond line starting their shifts in our own zone, that’s not their role)
Mika got 3 points tonight
Mika haters and Doomers: “LOOK AT HOW I LIVE! I WISH THE LORD WOULD TAKE THE TEAM NOW!!!”
