So it's a hit to the head, something the NHL "SAYS" they want to eliminate, but because it's a star player… nothing. If the situation was reversed and that was MacKinnon taking the hit to the head, you better believe there would be a match penalty and 5 game suspension. NHL is ridiculous any more. Mack was trying to avoid the hit. It was Romanov's posioning that made it look bad. You don't skate backward huntched over. Not dirty at all
