  1. They are going to sign Mitch and Tavares will take a pay cut or he'll sign somewhere else. But I think Mitch is staying.

  2. Luke Fox is not the first to say it, but I cannot understand it. The Berube style is being referred to as boring. I think it's more exciting, less goals in some cases but way more hits and less goals against.

  3. Calgary HAS to play as a team because they don't have any ɓÏģ superstars
I know that this "team" thing might be hard to grasp these days, for some people. 😬
    🔥🏒🔥

  4. WOW!! Leafs buying into new Head Coach Bareboobie's system after 3 whole games to start the season VS two mediocre non-playoff teams anad an underperforming Devils squad at home > just award Leafs the 2025 Cup right now!! This is truly amazing and totally unexpected, especially with a proven, respected veteran new Coach behind the Leafs bench!! BRILLIANT ANALYSIS FOLKS!!!

  5. Nylander is the player that can not play for Berube . Nylander was on the ice for that goal standing at center ice with his thumb in his mouth if you tubers would shut up there wou look d not be any whinning

  6. Boring is exciting for a hockey-sophisticated fanbase as Toronto. Consistency and solid play with some grit will always sell in this town.

  7. I disagree with Bourne. I dont think we can win with Matthews, Marner, and Nylander. No evidence to suggest any of them are high-quality and physical players that can win in the playoffs. The Leafs best playoff players every year are always the new additions they find at the Trade Deadline.

  8. They haven't won because the goaltending just wasn't championship caliber, nor was the blueline either. They didn't have enough snarl in the lineup, not even near enough, no pushback at all. The guy that is now leading them absolutely has to do what Ovechkin did, and that is to no longer ignore other players who do him dirty. I'd even suggest that when they play the Predators next that he lays into Stamkos and shows him who's boss. Everybody in the league saw that and know that they can get away with that crap with him. It's time he demanded respect and not just because of the size of his paycheque.

  9. I wonder if Perry shoving his stick into both of the goalies skates prior to the shot played into the call as well?

  10. JB and Sammy are wayyy too homer that it's clouding their judgement, I'm with Nick on this. Why would you think Marner Matthews and Nylander can win ? They've been trying for the last 7-8 yrs now and gotten out of the first round once lol. Nick is right, you gotta tweak it by changing the core.

  11. I dont believe Marner is outshining Matthews. Marner goal was an error by the pens netminder man….guy was way off on his angle. Gave him his cookie. Still a goal is a goal . …that said I no longer like Marner. Guy is not an elete player man. A good hockey player though but not top talent. Playoffs are a key indicator of a players true talent man.

  12. supporting role is getting better and goaltending and coaching is far superior so it may work this year. Plus Leafs have that 9 playoff cursed to win thingy this year. In 1967 they won it was their 9th playoffs in a row.
They are now on their 8th playoff in a row. This year will be 9th! so hockey gods will give the leafs the CURSE TO WIN it this year!

  13. 8 years and counting I don’t think it works JB and it’s not the fact they’re not skilled it’s that you can’t have all that money wrapped up in 4 players and build a team capable of winning and you can’t surrond your superstars with true depth to rely on

  14. Glad to have RK&B back!!!!!! One of the best parts of my day listening to you guys.

    GLG!!!!!!

  15. Berube is an experienced coach , with clear views, play system and strong personal authority over The team and also management.

  16. Kyper is partly right on that , with this core that they have won nothing so far. But they could, with a better defense and better goalie. Now they have those both.

He is totally wrong, that Colorado would not sign Mikko Rantanen , the Moose' from 🇫🇮.

They will 100% sure sign Mikko. With 8 yrs contract with half a million less yearly than McKinnon. Yearly income over 11 million.

He is a franchise player for Colorado, part of their core identity. Period.

  17. Matthews can play physical when paired with Domi believe it or not. We've all seen it last year. Matthews and Marner = no physicality. Scared hockey.

  18. Thought they were more boring under Keefe…lots of possession, slowing it down, perimeter hockey.

  19. Marner was beloved here until that contract negotiation. I would blame Dubas and his agent but that's what happened.

  20. Leafs need a power forward. I miss the life stream boys. I hope Toronto could get a second team. Something like sens prices so Leafs fans can invade another stadium.

  21. The problem with Marner has nothing to do with Marner. It has everything to do with salary cap allocation and rounding out a team for a Stanley Cup run. If you pay Marner the $12.5 he'll want, you have a massive hole in your depth scoring and defence. You're essentially playing against teams at a deficit once your top line is off the ice. And you can't win a cup with one line.
