If pasta doesnt brace himself he goes face first into the boards, yea technically not boarding because pasta launched forward with the hit to avoid chewing wood. That hit was trying to board him and thats a penalty, just look at the body positions frame by frame the intent was dirty just failed on execution.

No call on that hit and there definitely should have been. Reffing in the NHL has really got to imporve.They miss too many blatant calls. Ref was standing right there watching and no arm up…Disgraceful

AJ Greer doesn’t get called for hitting Pastrnak from behind directly on the numbers but when Charlie McAvoy cross checks someone from behind then it’s all of a sudden a problem. These referees are absolutely pathetic.
Greer hit/shoved pasta forward, not into the boards.
I will always respect and consider the Bruins traditionally tough but some of you fans are emotionally weak——

Am i the only person who doesn't mind if commentators who work for a regional sports network are "homers" for the teams that their network covers? I would never go to a game and expect the guy who works PA system to get all excited for the away team lol

Zacha has no business fighting Greer. I don't care what happened earlier. This whole sequence perfectly summarizes why the Bruins can't beat Florida. Constantly reacting and never initiating.

I don't know why everybody was always upset at Jack Edwards but not this guy who is arguably more biased and is 100% the most biased commentator in the NHL currently. I don't know if he's ever given insightful analysis because all I've ever heard was him yapping to defend Florida when there's an obvious penalty. Kinda absurd to me that Jack always got hate but not his guy. Keep the standard equal.

The NHL refereeing problem is getting worse every year. It started around the pandemic. All these bush league plays combined with so many new young entitled players lacking a spine, whining and starting scrums after clean hits. And there is Florida. A cesspool of a team.
