Much better from the Rangers. Beautiful goals from Laffy and Reily. More importantly, the defense didn't look chaotic.
Perhaps too early to tell, but it's good to see The Rangers scoring 5 on 5 and not relying so much on the power play
Elite NO but if they play as a team consistently, they will complete their quest of Lord Stanly that has eluted them for the last 3 years as we know this team is not getting any younger.
It's waaay too early to call the Rangers an elite team just yet. They've still got to clean some things up but it's a good start.
We have an elite goalie… so in that sense we always have a chance to win. I like where we are now. All lines have been good. Our defense has been average at defending, but above average at producing offense so it's a bit of a trade off. We need to improve at being a little harder on the puck. Too many wimpy stick checks or lazy backhand passes in our own zone. Just have to be a bit stronger in that regard. We're good though.
The UTAH L was rough and then Devils shut them out 3-0ā¦ but other than that 5 points in first 3 games ānot bad at allā is what Tenur would say.
