Only two games in but things bode well! Vasy strong, defense is solid, managing the game decently even when momentum is going the other way. I like what I see so far!
Think we might have depth scoring back! We’ll get to test that theory this week tho.

Vasilevskiy with .963 SV% which was better than last games. Completely shut down what many (non bolts fans) described to be “top tier” offense from the Can’tucks
We look phenomenal. Playing at a high pace, not afraid to make plays or get the puck out and on net. Night and day difference from last season. Jake looks spectacular, as does Moser.

Overall really happy with that game
Only area of some concern is power play. Once we get set, our chances of scoring are high. But often we can’t get set and waste too much time. Granted that depends a lot on the opponent
That first line was getting me out of my seat with the movement and passing. I think we finally have a line that can score for sure every game (at this rate) and the rest of the lines can throw in goals as well. If we are playoff bound and healthy, I can see us being a dangerous team.
Kuch has as many goals as the Oilers this year
Missed the first two periods out on my birthday dinner, but boy, what a great way to end the night! I’m really liking the assertiveness I’m seeing.
Really solid game all around. I loved what I saw. Defense looks much better and I like our speed.
I really liked the way the team played overall. Solid Defense, when it did falter Vasy was a wall, zero goalies are saving the one that went in. PP could use some work though, VAN’s PK seems kinda cracked, but the boys didn’t do themselves any favors either. I guess thats what happens when you used to have a Steven Stamkos on your team and you no longer have a Steven Stamkos. I believe they will get much better than what we saw tonight.
Also is it just me or has Hagel had a rough two games?
