Prior to tonight’s puck drop between the Florida Panthers and the Columbus Blue Jackets, the Jackets honor the late Johnny Gaudreau by leaving their left wing open in remembrance.

Man that was hard to take seeing that fan and CBJ coach with tears in their eyes.
It brought tears to my eyes and im here alone at home watching this. So powerful
The one person who gave this video a thumbs down is a monster!
Life goes on, it's sad he died but the games go on
The Blue Jackets lost by 1 goal maybe if they had 13 more seconds they would have tied it up
Well done. #13🏒🏒🏒🏒
Just like the "missing man" formation after a tragic loss experienced during an airshow or practice such as the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds. Class act.
Greatest sport in all of the Americas ❤
What a moment, being there definitely brought a few tears
RIP
That’s for you, Johnny.
And this is also for you, Matthew.
😭😭😭

Hockey is not just a sport, it’s one big family.
The hockey community is amazing. This was so nicely done. The gesture also shows a wonderful example of no matter differences, no matter competitions, coming together to do good things and remember someone is not only possible but very important.
Johnny Hockey, you will be missed
Hockey is so classy.
Very sad RIP Johhny and Matthew Gaudreau.
Amazing sportsmanship by the Panthers to ensure his spot had the puck
💜🤍

I couldn't bring myself to watch last night, I knew I would be a blubbering mess. Now I've salted my morning coffee with tears. This was really touching.
