Chabot is washed. He hasn’t grown stronger in years. Just living out his career with his local team. Sandy is the only D star.
As someone who’s had over 9 concussions in the past 15 years, it gets harder and harder to recover from them.
The Kleven/JBD could get ugly if we get stuck in our d zone like it has happened the past games… Travis Green seems to favor the guys playing close to the center of the d zone when we get trapped there… It's a bit annoying because DJ seemed to ask the same… Teams just play the perimeter and trap us for minutes on end in the zone…
Also Hamonic on the first pairing is just a slap in the face to fans… I don't know how this management and coaching staff still see him as NHL caliber… Icing machine…
I hope Ullmark won't get injured as easy as Murray otherwise we just extended a 20 game backup goalie at 8.3 mil per year for 5 years. There is a reason Boston let him go for what seemingly looked like a homerun for Ottawa. I sure hope Staios looked at Ullmark past injuries frequency before signing him for 5 years. He should of at least waited 1 month.
