[CBS Sports] Weekly Power Rankings

Lots of love for Ryker Evans. For those who don't want to click:

Ryker Evans, the No. 35 overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, looks like he might be a future star on the blue line. He has one goal and two assists in four games, and he has been dynamic for the Kraken. Seattle has controlled a jaw-dropping 60.9% of the expected goals with Ryker on the ice at five-on-five. Not bad for a 22-year-old blueliner.

It’s crazy to me that the Avs, Canucks, and Preds are still winless.

It’s interesting to have the Flames at 21 after starting 4-0. Like I get it’s not a standings report, and it is a power ranking. But like… you gotta put a bit more respect on that type of start.

Only power rankings I respect are by THG lol

It is just flat out bizarre to me that two years ago I was watching Dylan Guenther at T-Birds games in Kent and now he’s ripping the league apart with a 7mil a year contract for a team that didn’t exist at that moment.
