The 4th line has size and speed! No replacement for speed! Love it!
That's all he ever does. Not a fan of Montgomery. Maurice destroys him everytime.
Maybe the 4 th line shows the depth. But the other is just offcourse under produced. But this have been all year with Monty. His play game is not suited for the B and absolutely with this year’s roster.
They're gonna fire Monty and make Jay Leatch or Joe Sacco coach for the rest of the year.
Monty is a not the guy for this team. They need a guy who's gonna push them and hold them accountable.
His answer for everything is shuffle the lines. When he does put a good line together it feels like luck, like he doesnt understand what his players need.
Positives to take away from Monday's game: Korpisalo wasn't as bad as we were thinking he was after game 1
Coming from a Bruin's fan: Bruins fans are so near-sighted and emotional. The team goes 2-2 to open the season in the first 4 games, 3 of which are against playoff teams from last year and 2 of which are against the defending champs, one of which is with your backup goalie, AND the team is clearly still shaking off rust / finding chemistry with a ton of new personnel. And yet, the comment section is all ready to fire Monty. Guys, it's 2-2 in 4 games. Chill. This team has a ton of upside and will regress to the expected mean.
Rather see them struggle now and figure it out than peak early and fade like they often do. Good show boys.
