Mathew Ridge Reunites With Marc Ellis & John Kirwan Steps In… Best Stories From TV, Rugby & League

It’s the highly anticipated reunion of Matthew Ridge and Marc Ellis! We needed some help mediating, so we also brought in Sir John Kirwan. We cover the origins of Macca and Ridgey’s friendship, how they stood out in a conservative era of rugby, how JK helped usher them in, the difference between union and league, the time Marc had a panic attack, and much more!

  1. Its would be awesome to see rocky road trip again at a your age now and game of two halves Matthew still stealing coins from his car cleaning company?? These guys are crack up funny as f@$#

  2. Brilliant. Emery and Ivory still have it. And of course John is his usual self. Let’s have more, let’s have more.

  3. Where’s Lana? She the only thing makes watching these idiots bearable 😯😂

  4. Literally just spoke to Ridgey for 30mins today in Sydney. Lovely bloke looks like he could still play.

  5. Brilliant session. Honest and funny. JK you're a legend for your mental health awareness work.

  6. This was the best episode yet Ric. Awesome to listen to the guys talk about their careers and the modern game but to talk about, and accept, their challenges with mental health breaks down barriers for all people suffering through the same issues. This cant be praised enough.
Kudos to Tom Robinson as well. Was always a fan of him and am very proud he's finding his own path after rugby.

  7. brilliant 🤣🤣 awesome content lads like the old days. Was hoping to see the clip of Ridge getting roasted on game of 2 halves of an old interview with him and sally while Maca and everyone losing their sht 😂😂.

  8. This episode was 🔥🔥 good to have them together and just shooting the breeze and that classic banter is still the same to this day. Chur Chur to this one team

  9. The Two Goats of NZ Television, Ridgey and Macca. These two's antics would have been too wild for any other country to make prime time TV. Kiwi sporting/TV legends 🏉 📺🤙🏽

  10. As a Manly fan we were privileged to have Ridgey as one of us in the 90s. Without him, we don't win the 1996 Grand Final. Not just his goal kicking which was top class, but his professionalism and competitiveness pushed his team mates to be better.
