  1. Hi Nuckhead! Hope you’re doing well. I wanted to leave a message of appreciation for you and the work you create.

A friend of mine who’s been a hardcore Canucks fan for his whole life (and a Nuckhead fan since Game 3 of the regular season) got me to start watching the Canucks in their playoff run last season. At first, and for most of my life, I had no idea about anything to do with hockey – I was completely clueless about the rules, the players, and anything about the Canucks’ history beyond the fact that they were not very good for an extended stretch prior to this season. As I kept watching and getting more invested, I wanted to learn more about the players and intricacies of the game, but I didn’t know where to start. That was when I discovered your channel.

Your humour, storytelling, and genuine positivity drew me in immediately. As I kept watching the catalogue of work you had built up throughout the season, I started to understand the tactics and plays contributing to the overarching storylines present in each game. The players’ names, numbers, and unique characteristics became familiar to me thanks to your memorable descriptions of them and the features you did on players. I don’t fit into any of the descriptions of a “traditional” hockey fan (other than being Canadian lol), but I fell in love with this sport and watching this team play, more than I ever thought could have been possible.

Most of all, I got a sense of how special this season truly was as the one that brought playoff hockey back to Vancouver and revitalized the fanbase’s (and seemingly players’) belief in the organization. You helped me understand what hockey means to Vancouver, and just how much this sport means to people around the world. Even after the Canucks ultimately fell short, I knew that you would be able to articulate all the reasons why we should have optimism and hope for next season, where both you and the team will continue to build on what you’ve accomplished this past year. Your work was one of those reasons for optimism – one of the contributors that helped fans have fun watching the Canucks again, and one of the things we can look forward to next season.

I haven’t been a part of the Canucks fanbase for long, but I know that I won’t stop loving this team anytime soon. Your passion for the Canucks, and the work it drives you to create, is representative of what makes Vancouver so unique as a hockey market. When you spoke on one of the Nuckhead podcast episodes about your journey as a creator, it resonated with me as well. Please, continue being creative and putting your work out to the world for as long as it’s something you want to pursue. For every Canucks fan who’s been refreshed by your work as a breath of fresh air, and every fan of another team that you’ve convinced to develop a soft spot for the Canucks, there’s someone like me who’s been encouraged to become a fan of hockey because of people like you. I’ve watched every Canucks game since those playoff games, and hockey has brought so much joy, connection, and community into my life – I might have given up on trying to understand it if not for all the care you put into your work.

I can’t wait to see how the season plays out, and how you choose to tell the Canucks’ stories this year. Thank you for making creative, hilarious, and compelling work that says what all of us Nuckheads know: the Vancouver Canucks are good!

  2. Im not too worried yet but I'm ngl, definitely starting to get a little concerned about demko. it would be nice to not worry about our goalie being injured for a change.

  3. PREDICTIONS:
    5-3 W against Florida
    3-1 W against Philadelphia
    6-2 W against Chicago

  4. Petey in a slump isnt great but he's great enough to flip that and go on a tear. Its really Demko that has me bugged. A top 5 team needs their top 5 goaltender. I believe in Artie 'the shield' Silovs, but he can't turn this team into a contender. But if Demko returns in time to get hot for a run right into the playoffs, then I don't know if anything but an asteroid that can stop these guys. But for now, they're fine, in fact. THE VANCOUVER CANUCKS ARE GOOD.

  5. PREDICTIONS:
    2-1 W against FLA
    2-3 OTL against PHI
    6-3 W against

FLA missing key players and Lanky shows up big for a W
PHI still has a better matchup vs VAN but not by much
CHI is where Petey starts turning it around with a big 4 point night

  6. The Vancouver Canucks are fuckin GOOD believe in the boys!
    3-4 OT L Florida
    3-2 W against Philadelphia
    2-1 W against Chicago

  7. NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILS BIG HÖG HÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖÖGGGGGGGGLANDEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  8. hey nuckhead, been kinda down lately with the canucks but watching your video still gives me encouragement that they will come back. Thanks for always being positive.

  9. I always worry about the Canucks. Until they win the Cup, I won’t believe they can win the Cup. Fair?

  10. This fanbase needs more of this attitude. Canucks fans are so freaking toxic it drives me mental.

  11. 3 Game Prediction Pack

    4-3(SO) Win @ Florida
    4-1 Win @ Philadelphia
    3-1 Loss @ Chicago

Love what you do Nuckhead. Thank you for chilling me out and reminding me that the Nucks are good. I also never noticed the Garland thing where he told Hronek to lay after the Weegar hit.

I think Weegar remains the most underrated all-round player in hockey. What do you think of Weegar? I know you focus on the Nucks but curious what you think of some of the other players too.

  12. Nope not worried… Tocchet is looking for chemistry…. Line juggling time. Do it now but before march

  13. Not worried at all. They will be in the hunt for a playoff spot all year only to fall a few points short.
    There's always next year……….

  14. Hi nuckhead. I love watching your videos. I play road hockey:( but i still love the canucks. Me and my mom watch every game! She love silovs and i love petey. Thanks for everything and Go Canucks go!!!

  15. Hey, have a couple suspicions of them coming from the new players no doubt that they are better than some of the people that we traded but it feels like the veterans are trying to adjust to them, and the new players are not trying to adjust to the veterans

  16. PERDITIONS
3-2 win over florida in ot
    4-2 win over Philadelphia
    3-1 win over Chicago
