I dont know if its what your team bad at is what you see more so in the NFL but Ive been noticing so many more kickers missing them easier field goals . Seems like every game I watch theres kickers missing 40 yard field goals 🤔
If Narveson ends up doing good at his next stop and McManus struggles, then the coaching is the issue. You need patience to get a really good kicker like how the Packers let Love sit behind Rodgers, but a lot of teams refuse to do that. Partially because it doesn't make sense to carry 2 kickers on the roster.
This simply had to be done. I couldn't believe watching kickoffs last weekend… Narveson was putting every ounce of power he could muster into the kicks and failing to reach the end zone. That is not a NFL caliber kicker.
Signing a guy with allegations like that does scream desperation, but frankly that's the boat we are in right now, if he is ever found guilty he should be immediately released and off the team regardless of the situation but as his situation and our situation lye this is a good move, hopefully we have solved our kicking woes for good
Sad state of affairs when you sign a guy that's just OK under 50 yards and terrible over 50. Not to mention the sexual assault questions. I hope they keep looking.
So far we know exactly what McManus's stats are for field goals. What we don't know yet are his stats on sexual assault because the case is still pending.
For the casuals out there, McManus is one of the best kickers of the last decade. Let me put this into perspective.
Narveson and Carlson combined were 8-17 (45%) from 40-49 yards the last two years. Those are the ones kickers need to make.
McManus in his career has missed 12 in 10 years. He’s 86% from that range. He also went 35-35 on extra points last year compared to Carlson who missed 6
Edit: I commented this before watching the vid, didn’t know he’d mention the same thing😂
I thought Crosby was doing just fine. But to your point about GB Fans opinion about the team's most glaring flaw, Kicking AND I would add penalties to that list. Those two things cost us the win against Minnesota in Week 4.

Remember when we were so happy when the Packers signed Narveson? Well Narveson and McManus were teamless before signing with the Packers for a reason.

I agree man we need something because missing 30s and 40s shiiiiiii #GoPackGo
Have you ever seen more drama around the kicker position?
This always was a problem after Crosby!! Special teams!!
I have an idea, let’s sign the best kicker out of college next year…
Is he allowed on a plane, Values dont matter.
This has to be bs. Nothing anywhere about this

At this point Greenbay should look into that youtube kicker. Destroying videos or something like that.. lol
Um, Mason wasn't available?
As a Vikings fan, I really liked Narveson kicking for the Packers. 😊
Is he good?
Sign destroying! 😂
He can kick from 60+🔥

Maybe, Just Maybe, Its the Special teams coach.
What's next?Mossy Cade is inducted into the Packers Hall of Fame?
Can we just let fans give it a crack? Its probably gonna end with the same result (a miss) but at least it would be intertaning
Good! We’ve lost soo many games from FG’s

Has anyone called Mason to see what he’s up to?
I like the young kickers man , just gotta get a good young kicker
And Extra Points? Packer kickers have choked even on these kicks the last couple of years. Why are you not addressing this critical issue?
Doesn’t sound like a good guy either
Keep working Brayden! Get more consistent. He's still young. I hope he pops up on another team in a year or two and had success.
Make them from 45 and in consistently, make ep's. We're golden
At this point I'll take anyone.

Every championship team needs a dirt bag. Now we got one. Here we go!

Today's NFL , you need a kicker who's really good at 50+ field goals, why did they get rid of Mason Crosby ???
Old man crosby is looking pretty good folks. Maybe we should've kept him till we had a proven replacement…
