If the collar was more filled out in yellow, and the laces were gone, in my opinion, you'd have the perfect Bruins jersey. It's a great look!
Love this jersey, should be the primary. The 70's-80's jerseys were their best. The only issue I have with the set up is the socks should be all yellow.
I've seen some people who seem to be within the Bruins loop claim that fans should "get used to seeing this type of Bruins jersey". Have you heard anything revolving around a Bruins rebrand as soon as next season?

Would love the Bs to return to inverted versions of this simpler logo (on home & away). Also interesting yellow forearm. Boston has never used that blocking style before.

I feel like the Bruins have already nailed it with their existing look (they need the yellow socks back!) but this is too good to only be worn once.
This is what they should of did this last year. The cream throwback was nice but their H/A set was a miss.

If only the Montreal Maroons were celebrating their centennial too. I was a big Maroons fan back in the day. People would call us fans "Maroon Heads". I used to drive my brand new Model T to the games. I remember how heartbroken I was when they folded in 1938.

I think it looks a bit too Pittsburgh-y to be their primary jersey, particularly the gold down the arm, but this logo with last year's striping or Orr-era shoulders would be an upgrade. Their current primary set is getting dated.

As always, Chris: great video. Looking at the sweater, you definitely see a blending of many eras in Bruins' history. The fact that the sponsor patch is on the sleeve works better. Hopefully, other sponsors will follow the same approach, but that would be asking for too much. As for the gold tab on the bottom hemline: Bravo. I would like the NHL to take a page from the NBA and add silver tags on the rear collar for teams that have won the Stanley Cup.
It looks nice, but for the most part, all Bruins logos and jerseys look the same.

Firstly, it's an awesome jersey! I wouldn't change a thing – this is the best jersey that's been released for a while (out of the entire NHL).
Would I have this as the primary jersey? No.
I think teams have to evolve with the times, the changes and nuances are what makes the story of hockey jerseys so unique.
We don't want to end up like the Yankees and look exactly the same for 100+ years, that's boring.
That said, this is way better than any of the 'Reverse Retro' jerseys that have come out, for real.

I just love that they included Matthews Arena in their promotional vid, especially considering Matthews might not be around too much longer. Only fitting that they included that nod to the inaugural game
I hope they wear it for at least 14 more times because they need a REAL alternate (the original B black jersey is retired).
I like the jerseys.
But I would change the socks a bit – all gold. To me the black on top bleeds into the pants too much and makes it look funny.

The sponsor patch being moved to the shoulder area is actually really interesting to me, I thought that the right upper chest area was the agreed upon spot for them with no real exceptions.
