The mailbag is open. Connor and Mitch are taking questions about Nebraska and Indiana ahead of the Huskers and Hoosiers Saturday in Bloomington. Our viewers and listeners wanted to know how we see the strategies as Matt Rhule, Curt Cignetti and their staffs aim to get an edge against two effective quarterbacks.
Also, one listener wants Rhule to re-think his staff hires. We revisit topics from earlier in the week on Rhule’s sleeping habits in the office and our co-host’s poor travel decisions. Is Indiana simply a better-coached Colorado team? And what order of outcomes, measured by margin of victory, are most likely for Nebraska and Indiana in Week 8?

Let’s go Big Red !! We will win 28- 24
Aaron Hernandez on Hulu is what I’m watching currently 😳
RE: Oregon. What’s crazier is the onside kick. Lanning said after the game they practice that on a short kick and they figure if it hits him they’ll have a chance and if it misses him the ball is still going to fly downfield.
We don't play Michigan that's where I heard Michigan
Rhule is getting naps in on Tatami mat I bet. Great for naps and keeping a healthy back.
Just ask coach at the end of the media session and ask him if dylan hit his head with the door lol
Indiana if its a shoot out??? Cmon dylan raiola is a much better QB man cmon. Not even a comparison.
Indiana review….
the best team and
only team without a
losing record was a 3-3
NW team. And from the
offensive side they
run the scores up in
the 4th qtr. You see blow
outs but most of
those were when the
games were already well in hand. The 77 point game was the only game they pulled the QB for more than a series. Cignetti looks like he is stacking the deck so Rourke can build up passing stats vs playing players to develop in games were they could.
None of their opponents were physical. No Ty or Nash.
In the NW game, NW scored to start the 4th qtr to make it 27-24. Indy got the ball and had about a 6 min drive to go up 34-24. NW drive ended in downs giving Indy a really short field (NW 36 yard line) with 5 min left. Indy had a big pass and went up 41-24. With about 3 min left. NW got the ball on their 15 and moved it to Indy 44 before stalling.
In short Indy was only up by 3 in 4th, had a long drive to get up by 10, then were given a gift TD making the score look like the game wasn't close…. It was NW the best team they have played.
It is time to see Cinderella turn back into a pumpkin.
GBR
Indy did live on big plays in NW game. A 50, 40 and about 6 passes for over 20. Time to feast on some sacks.
Wow. Great analysis there Jim.
Maybe you can predict what direction the sun comes up in the morning.
Could it be that Indiana makes up for the talent divide between CU's QB and WR and theirs with a better more cohesive Offensive Line?
