JT Miller and Quinn Hughes combine for the winner, Elias Pettersson showing signs of promise and Kevin Lankinen a beast for the Canucks in goal. The Panthers were without Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk, but still showed well with top players Sam Reinhart and Sam Bennett.

We have been playing such good goaltenders with no defence, Rick and Pat have time to make changes to the D Line, we’re cup contenders, I’m still so excited for this year.

Tha panthers were missing two players yes, but the Canucks were missing three! Joshua, Demko, and Forbort. Different players yes, but still three.
Canucks last year didn't have any issues getting the goals this year the top 6 seems to be struggling on getting goals. I mean the first game of the season they beat the Oilers 8-1 or something like that. Hopefully they can keep the wins coming and get a strong effort for the full 60 going forward though.
I've been really impressed by Lankinen so far. Aside from a few sloppy mistakes which he recovered from, he was awesome.
