The Edmonton Oilers earned their second consecutive victory by battling their way to a 4-2 victory over the Nashville Predators in the first game of a two-game road trip on Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena. Defenceman Brett Kulak scored a pair of goals, including an empty-netter, while Connor McDavid notched his first goal of the season and the game-winner late in the middle frame to set the Blue & Orange up to lock it down defensively in the final 20 minutes of regulation. #oilers #edmontonoilers #nhl

Once Nuge and Arvidsson get going this team is gonna be very dangerous. Also Perry seems to be faster than last year(not saying he is a speedster lol), he’s looking really good in his limited role.
I was sitting between a Calgary fan and a Vancouver fan watching the oilers game. They were hoping the oilers would loose and wanted micdavid to get a career ending enjery. What a good time to be an oilers fan lol

Oilers in Nashville started to look like we want them. So happy to see them turning the ship. They'll get soon to an optimum.
Leon looked better last night, Davo still only @ like 70%. Hyman & Nuge looking a little discombobulated. Skinner & Perry have been great. D pairings looking much more connected. Pics looked steady. I like seeing Doc awake and involved.

It was a great team win. But I think Dallas would be a good indicator where exactly the team's chemistry is at. Hopefully, they continue to carry over that great team play from Nashville onto the next game. Overall, it was awesome to see the Oilers sticking up for each other.
You can see the skill that 53 has on the ice. He will pick up the slack if 93 flounders. Offensively deep this year.
One thing i never understand is how we are like better than 7 teams in the standings rn but get 100x the amount of hate than any of them..
