  1. Regarding the re-draft, Mailloux might have been selected around there if not for his indiscretion.

The way Habs PP is performing I would like to see Hutson and Mailloux together on the 1st unit. With Mailloux's booming shot the PP will be more of a threat.

When Guhle got hit by Kempe where was the "wolf" pack mentality? That was a blindsided hit and dangerous as by the boards. Other teams go to a teammate's aid for much less.

  2. Habs are not soft, questionable hits are the problem. Time to make statements to the other teams top players. Arber knows what he's doing. Fear works!

  3. Been saying that for years but MTL has statistically the most injuries of all teams. Maybe hire a strength and conditioning coach, work on ligament / tendon strength (squats on the toes for an example, I am far from an expert but there are many exercises to reinforce the body).

In life, when presented with a problem, you have to look for solution. We have been getting injured like crazy for years. We have a problem. What is the solution?

  4. It's not a curse, the boys are just injury prone and soft. There's still a ton of work to get them into any playoff contention starting with the coaching. Love MSL as a mentor but he doesn't belong behind the bench. They need a real NHL coach to guide the defence.

  5. We need consistent effort !!!! From the drop of the puck to the final whistle !!! By everybody !!!!
Enough with starting the first line every game and getting pinned in our zone for at least the first minute !! Setting the tone for the first !!!
Show some balls boys !!!! Season already started !!!! Go habs go !!!!

  6. Xhekaj/Mailloux was a great pair when they played together in Laval last year. Makes sense to me.

If both Matheson and Guhle are out?

    Hutson/Savard
    Xhekaj/Mailloux
    Struble/Barron

  7. Need more Xhekaj and a little less Hutson. Hutson gives up too many chances for the opposing team. He was another -2 vs LA and gave up a penalty shot due to being out of position.

  8. If you're talking Xhekaj, then I guess there's not a thing wrong with the players that really matter (Line one, Line two, systems). As predicted, NHL teams are playing the Habs hard, and you're seeing what they are. Last in the Div, bottom 3rd in the Lg, perfect for the rebuild.

  9. I need Suzuki, Caufield, Dvorak, Anderson and kapanen to start scoring. montembault can't win all our games for us.
