3-0 only the 5th game need a couple wins to get some mojo
Jeez guys it’s 5 games
I only watch for michkov and actively route for the team to get a top 5 pick. How are the same people who knew this team was bad last year and over achieved the same people surprised they suck. They got substantially worse on defense and in net. Michkov is literally the only addition. Hes 19 and there is no center / linemate that can keep up with his playmaking.
Really funky start to the season. Seeler being out really hurts this defensive unit, Rasto and Zamula were brutal tonight. Those guys have size but never seem super willing to initiate contact or "play physical".
Also can we get York on the second PP? Please? Zamula is not a good PP QB. York has upside offensively and is a better skater than Zamula, let him QB the second power play.
Ersson seemed solid in net, I like how calm he is in net, pretty much the opposite of Fedotov haha
How is it every season we buy into this bill of good just to realize it's the same crap from years before and nothing has changed torts will be gone by the end of the season and the front office won't be far behind
Poehling centering Michkov is a joke. If the team is serious about competing, they need to trade for a 1C. Dylan Cozens is the newest young C on the block. A blockbuster trade w Buffalo for Cozens & Byram would be ideal.
This is the perfect start for the Flyers. Based on the talent level on this team – they should finally finish with one of the worst records in the league. If they are smart, they don't outplay their talent level like they did last year and finish 12 to 15 spots lower than their talent level. This is the perfect year to bottom out and get a top 3 draft pick. This team has no high-end talent and a lot of needs at numerous positions. I am shocked that anyone would have thought otherwise. This team only has one player to build around – Michkov. Everyone else has no upside with the exception of maybe Ersson as a backup goalie and York as a 2nd line D-man. I still can't believe Briere gave TK and Tippet those contracts. Neither of them are finishers or goal scorers – both are completely overpaid based on their talent level and ceilings. Luchanko will be back in juniors in a week or so, he won't develop on this team with this roster, send him back to dominate in juniors and the world junior championships.
