  1. Can someone tell me why the fuck Marty had Hutson and mallioux together and savard and struble together 😡

  2. Im not here to say Caufield WILL score 50. Weve seen him get injuries before. But man. Hot start for him at a GPG. Hes 2nd in the NHL in goals. Obviously i dont expect him to maintain that but still thats massively impressive for a guy coming off of a 28 goal season. To put in perspective. Hes already has had 22% of his goals from last season. If he plays an 82 game season. I could see like 52 goals 23 assists. I dont expect it. But i can see it

  3. Also wanna give shouts to Slafkovsky. I won't be the first to say it but he dosen't look 100%. Hes started off the season slow compared to how he was last year. I think that could be his limited training camp. But tonight. This guy was good. He was driving play and skating crazy fast for his size. He made the first line go from just good to one of the best lines.

  4. I hate to say it but I think in order to get Dach's game going, maybe he should be reunited with Suzuki and Caufield. Only temporarily of course! Play Slafkovsky with Kapanan and Newhook. Newhook and Kapanan can rotate as centerman. Also, Prefer Guhle with Hutson so hopefully Guhle gets well soon!

  5. Caufield is the only one playing great on the first line, and Dach is struggling, they need to get him some help. His line doesn’t work, two guys that like to slow the game and a speedy guy, with no finisher. Let him play with Caufield and Dvorak to at least win faceoffs, put Newhook on the bottom six with the two rookies who have the same energy as him, call back Roy and alternate him with Armia on the first line. Suzuki can’t controle the game right now, Roy could play its role and help Suzuki shot like he did last year!

  6. Looks like 13 is a lucky number for Caufield. Think the Habs would have been in trouble tonight if Primeau didn't keep them in the game. Primeau faced 36 shots and the Habs also blocked 25. Did listen on Montreal Canadiens Inside Out, Knuckles mentioned the Habs are using a hybrid zone and man coverage for defense which possibly might be too complicated for a youthful defense corps. This is likely why it's leading to too many shots allowed and defensive breakdowns.

  7. People talking shit about Slafkovsky while he has 6 points in 6 games and already is in the top 10 for hits trough the league is laughable

Suzuki is slowing both Slafkovsky and Caufield but people will still blame a 20 years old instead

  8. I've been saying it forever. Mesar and Mailloux are the real thing. Mesar will demonstrate this year why he was a first round pick. He has more talent than Kapanen and Roy, he can do things that neither of them can do. Mailloux will have a letter in his jersey one day and will be the next Webber.

  9. Getting so damn sick of seeing Barron in the lineup ! Oh boy ! He scored a goal ! Well he's been responsible for 4 goals against so far because he's either turning pucks over; out of position or like last night; the 4th man getting back ! Primeau had a good bounce back and the 1st line played well.

  10. Still can't believe after so long that they gave the C to Suzuki….. Why… He's not captain material, he's at best a good A. Should have been Gallagher, he should have been the captain. Spend his career in Montreal, bled for the team, and they over pass him.. For Suzuki… Really…. Such a bad decision….

  11. It’s time to start getting excited for next season. This isn’t how I was hoping we would start the season

  12. The eye test tells me that Barron costs us a goal per game right now, my biggest takeaway is that Barron cannot be trusted defensively. We dont produce at an excellent rate and we cannot afford to have a guy make that many mistakes. He had a nice goal, but cost us a goal last night AND almost injured Primeau by hauling that guy down on the way to the net. Hes a liability and I cannot wait for us to trade him.

  13. Caufield is on fire … but Suzuki , Dach , Slavkovsky , Newhook have gone to sleep scoring wise … maybe they are still learning to play together and it will improve over time …

  14. It’s been like 20 years where our prospects have done amazing in other leagues and when they come to the NHL, they disappear. We’ve had a few break through to be decent players and not much stars and no elite players.
