Domino’s That’s Hockey: Should Oilers move Hyman off McDavid’s wing?

Lots has gone wrong for the Oilers this season and Zach Hyman might be the poster boy. He had 54 goals last year, but so far through six games he has zero goals, zero assists, zero points. Should Edmonton be worried about his lack of production and is it time to move him off Connor McDavid’s wing? TSN Hockey analyst Martin Biron joins Domino’s That’s Hockey to discuss.

  1. I'm sorry but are the oil lighting up the league and I didn't notice? the whole team stinks right now and frankly who you gonna move up? not exactly a ton of depth on this team.

  2. Why would they do that? Where will you find another 50 goal scorer who can stand at the post and let the puck deflect off him? Corey Perry to the top line with Boucher and McDavid. Boucher at least would be turning the puck over in the offensive zone!

  3. As an oilers fan heck no. Hyman could have 4-5 goals rn he’s had chances just bad puck luck so far. Also doesn’t help McDavid has looked terrible so far. I’d say Hyman has been one of the oilers best forwards so far even tho he’s pointless.

  4. Pretty simple really. If McDavid isn’t performing don’t expect Hyman to cash in on his hard work like last year

  5. Hyman is a thirty goal scorer that had a career year and he’s just regressing to his norm
