Woll will be relegated to backup. Stolartz is an exceptional goalie. very easily could have had a shutout.

Toronto couldn't challenge the empty netter because the ref called it no goal, if he called it a goal, they could have looked at the replay.

Not sure how Hedman and Chaffer got assists on that goal by Paul considering it was saved and Bennoit dragged it into the net himself.

It's really too bad about the shaky officiating. The 5 on 3 was just bad, but the handpass miss sucked too. Just plain bad call.
Still good win for the Leafs. This time up against a really good goalie they got the offense sorted out. They've played well throughout the season. If Woll plays tomorrow good luck to him.
Nobody is talking about that 5 on 3 pk. Honestly the best penalty kill I've seen from the Leafs in a long time. Tanev is exactly what we needed a guy who can help stop the damn puck. Lets just hope he stays healthy.

Had some 'Where is Stamkos?' chants in the arena after that 2nd-3rd period power play ended. Didn't make it onto the broadcast too well, but tons of fun.

Glad Benoit got a chance to redeem himself with some solid defensive play later in the game because that goal was bruuuuutal. He was coming in so hot that even if the puck had gone in right off the shot he still would have slammed into the net. He put himself and Stolarz at risk, and the cherry on top was pushing a saved and not dangerous puck into the net. His neck slammed right into the post too, he's lucky he's not on LTIR right now.
Leafs wanted this win and they worked hard to get it. Glad they didn't get goalied again, twice this season is already too much.
Really enjoyed not being able to watch this game. Awesome job NHL 😤

I've got a half-decade on you, Shannon. I have not watched broadcast television or cable since June 2008. The inability to skip all the awful commercials, pause, rewind, etc., would make watching regular TV unbearable.
For some reason, I thought the game would be televised on Prime here in the States as well.
As a cats fan seeing Stolarz do well with the Leafs is great

The game wasn't on Prime here for some reason. Maybe because Prime is showing Seattle games. I guess no harm since I whould have turned the game off half way through and it gave me time to finish watching season 5 of Dark Side of the Ring.

Did not like the stream. Joe is great. So far the Leafs have given up (the goalies) 2 or less in every game. Rangers 2 emty nets. Hopefully Learning the right style needed for the playoffs.. oh and how about a look at the great Gilles Meloche And the golden seals. White skates and all.
