QUESTION OF THE DAY — Give Me YOUR Thoughts On The Lukas Reichel Sitation!!
Just be patient with the kid some players mature quicker than others but playing him on the fourth line will make his progression harder and slower. I know Richardson is experimenting with lines I’d like to see Foligno Bedard and Kurasev and Turbo Reichel and Hall, let the kid play with 2 vets. Just my take
The only thing only disagree with is putting Reichel in the top 6. He has to earn that. Keep him on the 4th line until he earns a promotion to the 3rd line. Then, he has to earn a promotion to the second line. But yes, the Hawks are in a position to keep giving Reichel a chance to succeed. If it doesn't work out l, it doesn't work out. If it works out, GREAT!
Fiest of all, I'm a big Luke Richardson fan, that said, some coaches have no patience with young players.
I don't think that's Luke, he has shown patience in the past, he seems like a very even keel guy, but his job is on the line this year, fairly or not.
Forget the Lukas Reichel "sutuation"…rather please comment on Connor Bedard's 3.38 shooting % over his last 20GP…last 14 of last season and first 6 games of this season..
Who do you blame?
Bedard for not getting g off his Generational shot In the High Danger slot area …or Luke Richardson for not figuring out how to get Bedard free enough in the high danger areas to …to ypu know..actually beat goalies on a more higher efficiency that hos very poir finishing over last 20GP.
