‘There’s no question who No. 1 goalie is for Leafs’: Button on Stolarz

Whose performance stood out the most for the Maple Leafs in their 5-2 win over the Lightning? Has William Nylander been the best Maple Leaf so far this season? How have the Jets gotten off to such a strong start? Can the Predators rebound from losing their first five games? TSN Director of Scouting Craig Button joins Jay Onrait to discuss.

  1. Number 1 goalie by default. If he and Will duel it out this season for number 1 I am ok with that

  2. Meanwhile just who is the number one for the Oilers? One may think that because Stuart Skinner has, following the waiving of Jack Campbell, started more non-preseason games than any other goalie on that team he should be the main goalie, he's been very streaky. TBD will be whether Coach Knoblauch will start Skinner or instead go with Cal Pickard although a starting lineup is unlikely to be available until sometime between 2 and 3 hours before puck drop.

  3. Jets undefeated, and still can’t sell out an arena with a capacity of just over 15,300. Are they the new Arizona?

  4. People keep talking about Woll. Im not sure why. He’s constantly hurt and let’s in 3 goals every game when Stolarz lets in no more then 2. Woll is made out of glass he will never be a number one for that reason alone.

  5. i really like woll but hes #2 now. there's no question. he cant stay healthy so he gets used sparingly.
