  1. Im a habs fan, and it's sad to see but Barron is not near NHL ready, the game is too fast for him. Clean hit

  2. Trouba doesn't belong in the league. He's only out there to hurt players. Watch Barrons heads snap back, clear head contact, please suspended him…

  3. This young NHL season has a slight Roller Ball feel. All these borderline hits, trying to get the ratings up????

  4. lol the head is clearly the contact point. shoulder right on the chin. waht do you expect, trouba is dirty mofo

  5. This is such a clean hit. Barron never once looked up and trouba delivered this hit with his elbow and feet down, through the body. Shocked how many people can disagree. Beardless boys

  6. Show a goddamn angle where we can see the contact ffs. There are 50 cameras all over the plafe and they keep showing this one garbage angle.

  7. I hate the Habs but you never enjoy witnessing a guy in rough shape like that. Get well Justin

  8. Let's try and get some nuance here. Yes, this 100% a check to the head. Primary contact with Trouba's shoulder is the head. However, Trouba isn't head hunting. He isn't charging. His elbow is firmly tucked in. He simply makes a defensive play, using his stick for gap control while skating backwards, sees an opening to make a check and steps up. The entire time Trouba is steady in posture, he doesn't elevate or raise his body. Barron isn't aware of surroundings and his head is low and skates straight into Troubas shoulder. The real concern is Barron as he smashes his head on the ice after the collision. Concussion for sure. One can argue that this is a dangerous bad hit, with consequences. But open ice hits are allowed in the NHL, and Trouba delivers a textbook clean check. I hope Barron recovers, concussions are the worst.
