How did the Oilers blow a two-goal lead in overtime to the Hurricanes? Are we finally seeing the Cole Perfetti breakthrough? What happened to the Leafs suffering their worst defeat of the season? TSN Director of Scouting Craig Button joins Jay Onrait to discuss.

even if they dont win the cup NHL will gift them their 5th number 1 draft pick after mcdavid leaves next summer. NHL's golden child from canada who gets free gifts every year. imagine if other teams like canucks had 4 number 1 draft picks in their NHL history… or even 1
Love it
Carolina played well enough to win and Did Win! TSN is such a Canadian Homer Network and is a complete Joke!
Last year’s penalty kill had Desharnais on it. Just being there is enough because he is so big. Anyway, next year, sign Bouchard for 5mill. Good enough for his defensive ability.
“Big Mac” and “Bratwurst” tried their best but Bouchard failed at the most inopportune moment 10 seconds before the end of overtime,
and the pitiful “Oilers” lost again!🤪 Hyman had another "bagel" ))😝 7 games = 7 "bagels"🤑
how do the oilers not have two stanley cups with mcdavid and draisytl…embarassing team
I had hoped to, shortly before 5:45 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time this Thursday, post a direct response to the SportsCentre segment in question but because YouTube crashed to a point where I had been concerned that I would have to take the relevant tablet on which I'd hoped to record this response to a computer shop to be repaired, I will try as best as I can to reconstruct what I'd hoped to have posted before that tablet had crashed. While it is understandable the Leafs struggled to win a game under 24 hours after they have finished playing another one, the Oilers blew a two-goal lead to lose in OT after having had two straight calendar days EDT off. Just wait until the Oilers have to play games on consecutive calendar days Eastern Time, which they'll have to respectively do, before the 2025 postseason, once, thrice, twice, thrice, twice, twice and once in October, November, December, January, February, March and April, representing 14 such sets of games, 28 total games and 56 potential points. The Leafs meanwhile have 2, 4, 0, 1, 3 and 2 respective sets of games to be played on consecutive calendar days Eastern Time, representing 12, 24 and 48 respective sets of games, total games and points up for grabs. There are reasons to be concerned how each of the leaves and Oilers played their respective most-recent games but also about the ability of Dennis Hildeby to provide consistently good goaltending during those games that Coach Berube has assigned him to start.
The Oilers coach is amazing. How he gets the team ready is spectacular.
If the oilers could hire a coach that would raise the expectation of their captain to lead by example and play a 200 ft game this organization would be much more successful.
If they Oilers could score goals at the same rate they f**k things up, they'd have about 20 Cups by now!
Honestly; if it's not one thing with this team, it's something else.
Keep SINKING SkinNBones BEST thing that could happen … NOT going to SNIFF the Cup this season
If there was “no chance for Bouchard to get to the puck” then Connor definitely shouldn’t have blown the zone leaving and odd man situation eh? Real quality analysis! 😂
