Sebastian Aho’s goal with seven seconds left in overtime pushed the Canes to a 3-2 win in Edmonton. Shayne Gostisbehere and Martin Necas each scored in the 3rd period as Carolina rallied from a 2-0 deficit after 40 minutes. Ghost, who notched his 3rd power play goal of the season, has now scored in 4 straight games. Necas’ 2nd of the year tied the game with 6 1/2 minutes to play in regulation. Oh, and Frederik Andersen was spectacular in net. 33 saves for his 18th career win over the Oilers. He’s 18-2-2 lifetime against them.

the one time I'm like "it's ok, Adam's gonna take a while" and I miss the whole live stream. It's ok. Canes won!!!
The team looked really sloppy for the first two periods, so all things considered, the game could have been much worse than being down 2. The PP goal is where the team started to get back into the swing of things.
Ghost has been amazing for us so far (really all the new additions have done well).
Anderson started as he usually does, good but not great. By the end of the game he was consistently making great saves and was critical for tbe comeback.
Necas has been looking good and with the current roster, he fits in much better than I felt he did last year. Really, Necas could play on any line right now and be successful.
Overall, thrilled we manage to make it into OT, even a point is better than not getting one. I think we robbed the oilers this game, the first two periods the oilers were faster and positioned better, but that last second OT goal was a great end to the night.
After the livestream of this I caught the SN highlight video and got to see some saves that Andersen made in the game. I can really see why you gave him his dues for this game. I’d consider changing one of my stars to Andersen with the save against Skinner in the third being my reason.
