Most of these guys were with the team last year and were aware of the system and playing well within it. What the hell happened all of a sudden? They're pro hockey players, earning the big bucks. And they need to re-learn everything and start from scratch? I find this hard to believe.
Torts has a very good point. They are not tracking and playing without discipline. Sure, there are a bunch of issues like missed shots and opportunities. They need to get back to basics.
They need to figure the lines out. Torts has had over 25 different line combinations in 6 games. Thats insane this team is never going to build chemistry with that much change.
Team looks lackluster..wondering if it’s time for a different coach. Torts excellent effort always..but too exacting a style for a team in a rebuild reset hybrid. A little too intense? What a good guy Torts is..but not this point in time..
