I think we're leading in near-misses and hitting the goalposts. Definitely not leading in goaltending, though… Not making excuses, we've struggled, but it wouldn't have hurt to get one of those lucky bounces for a change.
I can't with the Torts-haters. This coach is why they were sniffing a playoff spot with the worst roster and worst goaltending in the league last season. 36-26 record before the 8 games. It's a friggin' miracle.
I rather be in a slump in the beginning of the year than the end remember last year hot in the beginning and when the games matter at the end we chocked
There is really one reason why this team is struggling……DEFENSE!!!!!!…..guys on D just aren’t good enough…..they should have added a couple middle of the road short term fixes during the off season….they thought the AHL guys would be able to step up….Torts said during camp that no one stood out…..Now Zamula has regressed and they are screwed….Jamie isn’t actually that bad when paired with an actual Defensemen…..
this team is very dumb and undiscplined. forget talent for a second, im talking just awareness and understanding of what you are as a team. they dont play loose, everything looks difficult. on top of that, their goaltending is what, bottom 10 if not 5 in the league? that means you have to play superior in front of them.

Not even torts’ fault. Flyers have a very young team. To give up two shorthanded goals a couple nights ago, and then leave mcmichael wide open last night.. need more awareness on the ice. You can have all the talent in the world on the ice but if you’re not doing the little things to create chances and block out opportunities from the other team, winning puck battles, nothing good is going to happen. Flyers were great last year idk wtf happened
The way he talks after these post pressers makes me think he’s not concerned with winning and more how to play. Which is fine for young players learning the nhl game, but man the strait up play by veteran players is disturbing.
