  1. Anyone ever hear the story of messier, bure and a woman at a party? The story that lead to bures request for a trade?

  2. If this video doesn’t change your mind about who Messier was as a person, a video compilation of Messier cross-checking players from the back ought to do it.

  3. Not much can take the stench off of a losing franchise. Even bringing in hockey royalty didn't help. The fans aren't used to seeing good players in a Canucks jersey.

  4. I grew up in Edmonton and was living in Vancouver when Vancouver lost to NY in game 7. all I remember is how bad the Vancouver Canucks fans cried and cried like a nursery filled with Colicky babies. I was so ashamed of the Vancouver fans and this guy commenting in this video sounds exactly like them, I bet he doesn't even know how to skate. Vancouver is a Joke city for Hockey.

  5. You can hate him all you want it wasn't messier that orchestrated the fukn trade of course he's gonna take the money. Messier just sucks for other reasons

  6. I’d take the real Canucks NUMBER ELEVEN Wayne Maki any day over Messier. He was useless in Vancouver with his equally useless coach Mike Keenan. Good riddance.

  7. It's wild how a human being can be a superior hockey player with superior numbers and championships and still be jealous of a lesser player. But Messier knew Linden was a classy human being and a strong leader so he needed to destroy Linden. And today Messier has built a shrine around himself that he's the best leader in sports history despite all the evidence that he's an arrogant bully. Who can blame him? It's better than looking at a big baby in the mirror right?

  8. That last segment, makes you a goat canucks channel.
I got to love people who look at both sides of the story. What's plainly obvious is not always true, and its important to look for those instances.

  9. Messier is literally the dumbest Hockey Player I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. Saying he has farmer mentality or simple ideas just makes Farmers look like idiots, and simpletons look like pet rocks. What a shame that he is considered an ambassador of the NHL, I can do better than Messier- my Grandson has pet turtles – maybe a good replacement?

  10. Linden did win two junior hockey championshipa so there's that. Mike was rude and foolish to challenge a popular guy in the locker room and city but he kinda had a point.

  11. After watching messiers elbow to the head compilation it has very much changed my view of him…I was young during those times and missed all this as a kid

  12. There are numerous reasons why I have been a lifelong Flames fan despite having lived in Edmonton all my life. The Oilers of the Cup winning years were just arrogant and annoying, and I always wore my Flames jersey in Edmonton very proudly! 👍😁

  13. I speak for a great many Canucks fans and we all feel the same way about him and the Canucks.

    Fuck Messier.

  14. I watched the Canadian Thanksgiving game on Prime with Montreal and Pittsburgh. And all they talked about was Pittsburgh I'll even tell you Pittsburgh was the road team. And every commercial was talking about the 1994 Stanley Cup win for Messier because Prime has this new show called game 7 or something.. Canadian Thanksgiving and all they're talking about is American crap it's not going to look good for the Canucks games to have to sit there and listen to Messier trash the Canucks

  15. Thanks for this expose. I appreciate the time and effort. Well done.

As I was watching this, a curious thought crossed my mind when the video was discussing Mark's hit on Linden after Linden got 'cheap-shotted' by Graves in Game 6 of the SC Finals.

Was there a lot of hate that was built between the Rangers and Canucks in that Stanley Cup Final?

It almost seemed like Mark was like someone from the Mafia (example only). In that the Canucks almost upset the Rangers in that Final and it almost seemed like they were not only going to rub it into the Canucks' skin when they won the cup but they were going to make Vancouver pay for making the Rangers work so hard to win it. Just the way the whole Messier-in-Vancouver-stint unfolded, it almost seemed like Mark was committed to completely make Vancouver pay. Like Mark was doing a hit on the Canucks such that the team would be decimated to the point that they wouldn't be going back to the Finals anytime soon after he finished his time with Vancouver. I know that's not the truth of what really happened…but just by what the organization endured during Mark's time in Vancouver, it almost seemed that way. Do you see what I mean?

  16. I usually settle for a like but you earned a subscription from the get-go, great video!

  17. Sorry, I don't give a rat's a** about his side of any story. For those of us who watched him kneeling on top of Trevor Linden, prone on the ice and punching him in the face during a game (Linden already had a broken nose at this point) during the '94 Cup playoffs, it was instantly a never forgive or forget loss of any shred of respect. Then the abomination of him coming to Vancouver, taking Trevor's Captaincy, having Keenan come in as Coach, AAAAUUUUUGHHH! I can't even type out how I really feel due to the woke censorship YouTube has imposed upon us.
