I wish people could understand that this is a good thing! The pens aren't winning the cup again with this core. We all know it. It's over. You should WANT them to get that high first rount pick to get that future first line center.
IMO Sullivan should have been fired after their poor start last year. Something needs to change. That’s the next domino. After that we go from there. As a pens fan I feel so happy I was able to get to see some cups with this team. I’m 31 so I was born during the initial run but most of my life was seeing horrible teams. And sadly it’s now back to that, even with 87 and 71 still here.
Maybe Crosby took less money on his contract to make it easier for him to be traded in the future. He probably knows this team is a trash heap. I wanna see an NHL where Sid is traded to the Avs to play with McKinnon, make it happen Dubas, you know you want to.

Dubas is in such a bad spot because Pittsburg with Crosby malkin letang etc are gonna be mediocre. He has to try and keep winning with a older core so they’ll be stuck in the middle until the veterans retire, then start a rebuild anyways

Pens are basically taking the same path as the Sharks, they're just like 3 years behind. Kudos to EK65 for coming in to help expedite the nosedive, strange that he hasn't made the playoffs once since demanding that huge contract.

Karlsson has never been even average on defense. Undeserving of his Norris trophies. But this isn’t news. The rest of team is no longer good enough to overcome karlssons defense. It’s time to embrace youth. Move Glass to the first line, and start making trades.
