  1. The Canuckleheads came out on their heels watching the Canes. Lankinen was to good for me not to give a star. A lack of focus in OT made it too easy for the Canes to win it.

  2. The canucks didn’t come out flat, Carolina played with a system that completely countered the way the Canucks play. They completely shut down the board play and had FWDs blowing the zone to back off the D. The Canucks took time to adjust, stretching the zone, carrying the puck in more instead of ringing the boards, and driving through the center of the o zone instead of cycling down low.
    That was just two play styles clashing.
