🧢 Captain 💎
shame we let him go
😭😭😭
Miss you Cap
I still have his jersey and he will be a Lightning though in my eyes even though he is now with the Preds. Good luck Stamkos
Captain we will never forget the indelible mark you left on the Bolts 🧢⚡👏🏼👏🏼. Thank you for the memories and of course the 2 chips 🏆.
Miss you terribly 😢💔.
Mr. Lightning
i bet there wasn’t a dry eye watching this.

i cried just like when he raised the cup, he is my captain
including Mishkin's call on the Stamkos goal was top tier.

We miss you stammer. #91forlife
Love yew stammer 😢
Thank you 91
Thank you for absolutely everything Capt. You define Lightning hockey and always will! The greatest player in Lightning history and the player everyone will think of first when they see the Lightning logo! You embody everything it takes to be a leader and a captain!
I miss 91. Thank you for everything 😢
Im not even a bolts fan but my god stammer has always meant the world to me. The guy single handedly resurrected you guys and put you guys back on the map after the 2008 draft and gave every fiber of his being both to the team and the city of tampa in attempt to revive the culture resulting in so much future glory. he WAS the Tampa Bay Lightning, whenever the bolts were mentioned the first one you'd think of would be him. In his 16 years, he also made so many players around him better as the bolts built around him as the years went on like kuch, heddy, cally, point, hagel, sergy, mcdonagh, etc. And even Marty St. Louis said not long ago he was the reason why he was able to stay relevant well into his 30s in the early 2010s when the bolts were a middling team still. My 2 favorite moments have to be his 60th goal on April 7, 2012 and prolly that game 3 cup final goal in the bubble against Dallas. Shows that not only would be always come big in the regular season but alos in the playoffs too. All in all within 16 years, 2 cups, 4 cup finals, 7 conference finals, all time goal leader, 2nd most goals of the 2010s decade (even after the broken leg in late 2013 and torn meniscus in late 2016), right up there with ovi and crosby as the top alpha dog of his generation and the 2010s decade (and still going string today), captained the team into a dynasty between 2015-2022 and just an even better individual off the ice. I doubt the bolts will ever get a player of his caliber again and i doubt anyone is breaking his franchise goal record. Even as a non Lightning fan, I was heartbroken that a contract extension couldn't come to fruition given how much he didn't want to leave and the significant discount he was willing to take but sadly still didn't work. God bless Stammer and his fam!
I’m a blues fan it would mean the world to me if he were to return and retire with the bolts
#91 will ALWAYS be a Bolt! Thanks for everything Skipper!
So surreal…I still can't believe they let him go…he was the TBL.
I will forever wear 91, forever my Captain. God bless you and your family Stamkos!
Why did Stamkos get less of a tribute than Palat did? 16 years he was with us and you gave him less than 2 minutes. Should've been longer.
There will be a statue in Tampa.
Легенда Тампы
Freaking chills.
Thank you, #91
You'll always be my Captain Stammer. Thanks for what you meant to the community of the Tampa Bay Area, and to me. Hedman will be a fantastic captain and will fill your shoes well. But you will be missed dearly.
Why would you leave and go there to Nashville I’m still upset about him not being home in tampa with us
