Sullivan sounds like he’s throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks at this point. Btw I’ve never seen these two have a ton of success together outside the power play

Who's worried about defense? They can outscore their problems hahah honestly though I like the idea of some of the other lines it creates especially when lizzotte gets healthy ( although I don't think it'll last that long).
That goal by Malkin in the Vancover game was epic. Offense is not really the issue, but I don't hate it at certain times in games

Fans will likely see another Penguins loss tonight, but Fleury in goal battling the 2-headed monster will be quite nostalgic, especially when Letang is also in the mix (sell those tickets for FSG).

Keep going out every off season and picking up for Forwards and ignoring Defense . That's works so well . Fire Sully and bench Letang who never knew how to play Defense .
Crosby can only play with CERTAIN Wingers . When he doesn't like the Winger he is given , he poots and refuses to play try . Malkin gets stuck with Sid's leftover Wingers . Don't be fooled , Crosby runs that team . Just like Mario did .

Sully lost the locker room. Bench Letang and maybe sid even if it hurts. What should the others players think if he still plays even though he's completely off track
Please DK stop repeating yourself, my Lord that is so frustrating. don’t get me wrong. I love your show. but that one little thing would be really nice if you could stop doing it. reminds me of Donald Trump so aggravating when he does it.
One top line and 3 depth lines… I'm not mad at it
pre-season on your YouTube I said that this team would be a bottom feeder team. That their Defence was really bad, that their roster is not strong and has many weak points…and I didn't say, but it has become evident after 4 games, Sid has lost a step and needs a good winger with him, which makes the loss of guentzel much more frustrating. The roster constructed was never a playoff team, wasn't even a contender….I'm not surprised now at how bad they are. The only surprise has been the number goals from 3rd line….but that will level out…..this team was built to fail…and it is failing….I don't blame Sullivan, his roster sucks….he will likely get fired but not sure who will be a better replacement
Sid, geno and rakell? Same line? Let's get kovalev, mirozov and jagr resigned…. that'll work too. While we're at it, bring barasso out of retirement too ffs 😂😂😂
Geno and Crosby playing together is Sully's patented "I am out of ideas" move.. I'm actually surprised he didn't put Beauvillier on the other wing. As for the rest let's face it: Graves is their best d-man with a 0+- after 10 games.Think about that for a minute.
I agree DK. The defense is just not doing enough. Near the end of last season they played much better than now. They got to go after the puck. Thank you DK
Dk, are we glad Sully is trying something "new"? Sure… but him trying something he hasn't really considered for near a decade kind of looks like hes running out of ideas now he realizes his 1st one isn't working anymore.
Sid and Geno not working doesn't come from me, or even you; it comes right from Sully describing what he wants and everyone knowing what each player needs to be successful and then ignoring it completely.
Geno has had success as a winger before… in his rookie season, been a hot minute since then.
Geno at his best has a fast forchecker and a skilled triggerman (ie DOC and Rakkel)
Sid is best cycling downlow and grinding guys down and then finishing with skill (Rust SAM POULIN), Eller and JP look good but really need someone effective to play with or the line gets neutered (Bunting) 4th line leave alone it is actually the only thing working.
I know, i know, what has Sam P done? Well in the 2 games they have given him since his draft hes got like 6 and 10 min on the 4th line with the ghost of Jeff Carter. In the AHL hes a cycle beast and point producer, maybe give him a chance to actually do that. You don't need your best players together, you need players where they can be their best.
We need to see what the lineup looks like with Letang or Karlsson or both scratched
