They have dome it before without McDavid and I believe they will do it again, let's be hopefully this goes well for the team and pushes them and showing there captain that they cam win and bring it back up to 500 500+ before he gets back
It may be good news that McDavid is expected to be out just under a month at worst but that he may be out long enough for the Oilers to sink in the standings may not be. Sinking in the standings, during McDavid’s absence,will show a lack of quality depth in the lineup, and that won’t be good for an Oiler team that following last preseason, but going into games, scheduled to start later Wednesday Mountain Daylight Time, is 7th in the Pacific Division and Western Conference wildcard race with 9 points over 10 games, tied with the Ducks on points but having played one more game than them.
If they can turn it around like they did last season, they can be dominate this year too. Especially with Knoblauch leading the way. Hoping McDavid heals well, and comes back burning up the ice, scoring like a madman.
2-3 weeks not to bad, well we have L50N to lead the team
