Leafs receive – Benning, 2025 3rd and a 2026 6th rd pick.
Good deal for leafs with cap savings.
Yo TSH guy, there’s more to the trade than you mentioned. SJS also sends a 2026 sixth round pick to Toronto.
The 3rd rounder is a NYR pick so the way they re playing it shouod be a very late 3rd.
Treliving made this trade as a cap dump to open up a space for Jani Hakanpaa whose return is imminent. And fringe player Benning either to the minors, or an extra depth Dman who won’t play much with the big club.
Trevling will nor make a championship team in T.O
Free Robertson from the shit show in Toronto.

Until one or two of the core go they will always be handcuffed to the same result, The core can't get the job done.
Sharks making incredible moves to bolster this roster. Love the makeup and they have an extremely bright future. As for toronto just looks like a mess. Matt Benning? Should of packaged Robertson to get more.
