I honestly think with Pettey not performing and the clash with Miller is creating Cancer in the Locker room … Time to move him before his NTC kicks in .

Excuses, excuses, excuses. That was one of the worst games Canucks have ever played. If this keeps up, people are going to start demanding a new coach. Tocchett is unable to get these guys focused and playing like a hockey team, instead of guys who just got off the golf course and are just putting in time. This is the opposite of last year when they dominated all season long, and it's virtually the same players.
Could the fact that Petterson's $11.5 million salary cap for 2024 is nearly $3.5 million more than Miller at $8 million and nearly $4.5 million more than Hughes and Hronek, and nearly twice as much as Boeser at $6.5 million — be creating some serious resentment and unhappiness on the Canucks, when Petterson is performing so poorly and has dropped to nearly #300 on the NHL League Leaders list? Sure seems like a possibility to me.
get rid of petterson and retain some salary. no other option
